Improving with each run at this venue and was barely asked a question when scoring here three weeks ago. Up 4lb and another furlong in trip but might not anchor him just yet.

Decent effort on handicap bow over C&D in December, will likely need more if having a say in the finish now.

Just a fair run last time in C&D maiden in early December. Likely to offer more and has excellent jockey booking but needs a big jump forward on ratings.

Holy Roman Emperor colt makes racecourse debut in this and has a lofty standard to aim at with a couple of these in-form rivals.

Filly defied her inexperience to score over C&D on racecourse debut in November. That was a fair opening statement and she's open to plenty of improvement.

Debut run suggests she is likely to struggle amongst some of these rivals for now at least.

Forecasts

Fizzy Friday (11/10), Alfredo Arcano (11/8), Ely Place (6/1), Make It Hurrah (10/1), Roman Wells (25/1), Kitsune (66/1)

Verdict

ALFREDO ARCANO and Fizzy Friday appear the two to focus on here. The selection travelled powerfully and was essentially toying with prey in the home straight when adding a second course win last month. That was a first try at 6f but the manner in which he loomed up suggested there will be more to come and he can complete the hat-trick now. Fizzy Friday ran around about in front when scoring on debut herself and is open to plenty improvement. With her weight allowance, she should make this a decent contest. Of the remainder, it would be no surprise should Roman Wells debut impressively. 1. Alfredo Arcano 2. Fizzy Friday 3. Roman Wells
