Victorious at Kempton last week and turns out under a penalty. Caught the eye prior to that when finishing a close fourth from out of the handicap over this CD and has last weeks winning jockey in the plate once more.

Remains a maiden after 12 outings but put up a career best performance when finishing runner-up at Wolverhampton last time out. He takes a sharp drop in trip for this however but hasn't been beaten far in his runs over this trip in the past and should again go well here..

Consistent maiden who again ran well when finishing runner-up to Welsh Inlet at Kempton last week. Races off the same mark here and change in tactics failed to work when a beaten favourite on his penultimate start. Sports a first time tongue tie and visor combination in this and draw could have been kinder.

Well beaten in three attempts at maidens, including here in december and a similar story when seventh on her handicap debut in a weak race over this CD last month. More to do here.

Successful off 1lb higher over a mile 11 months ago, pushed along from an early stage when a well beaten fourth behind Welsh Inlet last week and apprentice jockey having her first ride since 2011 has a wide draw to contend with also.

Well beaten at Wovlerhampton last time out and a similar story at Chelmsford the time before. Surprisingly yet to run here in 34 AW starts, now racing off a 6lb lower mark than for his sole success but looks up against it on recent form.

Change in tactics when leading at Kempton last week but faded two furlongs from home behind Welsh Inlet. Only limited signs of promise since returning from two year absence and probably best watched at present.

Well beaten in five maiden events to september last year and a similar story in her two handicap outings thus far. Useful jockey booked to ride but more needed in this. with a wide draw to contend with also.

Modest form in three quick runs so far including when finishing sixth at Wolverhampton last time out. Makes her handicap debut here off a low mark and any market support should be noted.

Unplaced on three outings in maidens last year but much better in first time visor on handicap debut over this trip at Wolverhampton last time out, the runner-up has won easily since and he looks set to go well again here.

Still a maiden after 13 outings, ran well in a three-year-old only handicap last time out over this CD and interesting to see if she can repeat that solid effort here with a useful apprentice booked to ride.

Forecasts

Prince of Time (3/1), Tigerfish (4/1), Welsh Inlet (9/2), Captain K (9/2), Bartholomew J (6/1), Goodluck Joey (10/1), Living Leader (14/1), Indus Valley (16/1), Rockalater (20/1), Chandrayaan (25/1), Bold Max (33/1), Annabella (33/1), Catalyze (66/1), Love In The Dark (66/1)

Verdict

WELSH INLET isn't the most consistent of animals but is in good form at present and can follow up last weeks victory by defying a penalty here.. The mare has a decent draw here which should allow her apprentice jockey to race close to the pace as she did last week and she can get the better of Bartholomew J who improved on his maiden form when making the frame at Wolverhampton last month. Of the remainder Goodluck Joey is well drawn for his handicap debut and represents shrewd connections while Captain K has been consistent without winning and takes a drop in trip here. 1. Welsh Inlet 2. Bartholomew J 3. Captain K
