Gave this jockey his one and only winner and the pair went close at Wolverhampton last time out, just finding one too good. The gelding still looks on a fair enough mark and has won at this course before so he's not one to discount.
Clearly didn't enjoy the unique test of Southwell when last seen but he'd been in good form prior to that and he has won over C&D. Slight worry he's not been seen for a month after being in such good form at the turn of the year and can miss the break at times but should give his running once again.
Just found the same one too good on last couple of occasions but that rival skips this assignment Mark still looks fair and no surprise to see him go one better here.
Very disappointing last time out when he didn't really get things his own way on the front end and may give a better account here with the extra distance set to suit.
Still low-mileage and bolted up when last seen here in December. Well backed that day and the second and third have both come out and won again since so the form has a strong look to it.
Forecasts
Lost The Moon (2/1), Duck A L'orange (4/1), Eurato (5/1), Clovelly Bay (5/1), Icebuster (8/1), Sandy Cove (10/1), Karam Albaari (14/1)
CLOVELLY BAY may offer a bit of value against the likely market rivals here and he was unlucky not to at least finish closer last time out. Not missed by the handicapper and raised 1lb but should be giving another good account in here. Lost The Moon brings in a different kind of profile to the rest of these and the form of his last race has held up so he looks an obvious candidate for a follow-up win. The extra distance may bring out some improvement in Duck A L'Orange, he didn't get his race run to suit last time but can prove he's better than that.
1. Clovelly Bay
2. Lost The Moon
3. Duck A L'orange
