Winner on heavy ground in the past but disappointed on chasing debut at Kelso last time out. Has been dropped 5lbs for that run and cheekpieces applied here but a bit to prove at present.
Irish point-to-point winner in may and though disappointing on chasing debut in december he was beaten just three lengths last time out at Ayr. Returns to three miles here and is considered with the handicapper dropping him 1lb for that most recent effort.
Winner of his penultimate start over this trip in first time blinkers at Hexham two months ago. Disappointed on better ground last time out at Wetherby but blinkers retained and softer ground should suit here. Looks likely to be a leading player if returning to the form of his Hexham success.
Beat the classy Bellshill in a point-to-point in 2014 but shown nothing like that sort of form in six outings under rules including over fences in handicaps the last twice. Wore blinkers for the first time when a well beaten third at Bangor last time out and cheekpieces replace them for the first time here.
Had been falling in the weights prior to finishing runner-up to an impressive winner at Hereford last month (the pair well clear). Handicapper has left him on the same mark for this and an interesting contender on chasing debut.
Had failed to complete on his three previous outings prior to finishing a well beaten fourth at Ayr returned to hurdling last month and he remains a risky proposition having failed to complete in his three previous chase outings. Wears cheekpieces for the first time here.
Made all to record his first success last time out at Ayr having had things go wrong for him when pulled up at Wetherby previously. Change in tactics at Ayr seemed to help him and interesting to see how he fares here having finished runner-up to today's rival Smuggler's Stash at Hexham in december.
Successful over hurdles over 3m1f here when held up under an amateur rider when last seen out in november 2015. Sole completion (from four attempts) over fences came when a well beaten last of three at Ayr in january 2015 and likely best watched after a 14 month absence.
Well held in two handicap runs over hurdles, including last time out at Musselburgh two weeks ago. Seems to handle the soft conditions he's likely to encounter here but appears to have plenty to do on chasing debut.
Winner at Catterick on his most recent outing two weeks ago. Being ridden more positively seemed to suit on that occasion, has taken a 9lb rise in the weights for that success and interesting to see if he can repeat it on softer ground here.
Sent off favourite but fell at the opening fence last time out. Remains a maiden having had nine previous rules starts and upped to 3m for the first time today.

CELTIC TUNE ran well to be runner-up to an improved rival on his most recent outing at Hereford last month and can gain a first career success here with a top jockey taking the mount here having contested an amateur riders event on his most recent outing. Smuggler's Stash can put a below par run last time out at Wetherby behind by taking second here and in doing so confirm his previous Hexham running with last time out winner Landmeafortune.
