Half-sister to a 6f winner, pedigree doesn't provide much else to get excited about but worth a check in the market.
Beaten 21L at 100/1 on sole racecourse appearance in July 2014. Dam has produced one winner from seven other foals. Would be a very surprising winner.
Beaten in all five maidens so far, all over different distances, though a return to 5f, where she provided probably her best performance so far, gives some hope. One to consider.
First foal out of an unplaced dam, by Camacho and wouldn't seem to hold much of a chance on racecourse debut.
42,000gns yearling, out of a winner in Spain and related to several other winners, though mostly over further. One of the more likely newcomers.
Has come close in a couple of maidens so far, and probably has the best form on paper. His racecourse experience may help him here against several newcomers/once-raced rivals. Leading claims.
Uninspiring fifth on racecourse debut at Chepstow in novice race back in July (5f, good). Has the break to overcome, and there is certainly more convincing form on offer.
A fair fourth on debut over 7f here last month, her pedigree suggests that this step down in trip should suit. One to consider.
A seven-race maiden who was a 1L runner-up over C&D last time. If building on that at all she should be a big player in what looks an easier contest.
Finished last of all when 100/1 on debut at Kempton in December. Nothing to suggest that she will show anything like the improvement needed to be competitive today.
Relatively encouraging fifth on debut over 5f at Southwell 11 days ago. Shaped as if an extra furlong would help, but that race looked far from the strongest maiden.
Forecasts
Blue Bahia (6/5), Right Action (5/2), Arabella Rose (8/1), Poetic Queen (11/1), Trotter (16/1), Groundskeeperwilly (16/1), Ebitda (20/1), Harlequin Storm (25/1), Inspire (100/1), Captain Sedgwick (200/1), Gerry (200/1)
This is a weak maiden where it's difficult to get too excited about many of the newcomers or five once-raced contenders. The exception in that latter group is Ebltda, who looked like 6f would be a minimum when debuting over the minimum trip at Southwell last month. However, she will need to show more than a little improvement to put it up to Blue Bahia and RIGHT ACTION, both of whom have come close in maidens in recent months. Preference just about goes to the latter, who has been at this best 6f so far and will be hard to beat if acting on the artificial surface on his AW debut.
1. Right Action
2. Blue Bahia
3. Ebitda
