Off or over a year having won an AW maiden at the third time of asking over C&D in December 2015. Very lightly raced compared to most of these and lots of improvement possible but it's a big ask to overcome top weight and the time off.
Course specialist who steps back down in trip to a more suitable distance. Still on a higher mark than he's ever won off but definitely one of the more likely winners.
Steps down in trip having beaten Tangramm over 1m4f here on his most recent appearance. 4/6 over C&D and looks to be fairly treated, in with a big chance on first start over this distance after a recent change of trainer.
Ran well in defeat on several AW appearance last year, and makes first appearance since November today. Has been gelded in the interim, and this sort of distance has brought out the best in him in the past. Good chance if finding the Tapeta to his liking.
Former Andre Fabre filly who ran very well in two French AW appearances towards the end of last year. Makes her British debut on first start for new trainer today, and though her previous form is difficult to judge she would appear to have plenty of improvement in her.
Well-beaten on British debut last time having been off the track for almost a year. May have needed the run, and that trip was an unsuitable 1m3f, but will need to rediscover the very best of his previous form in order to be involved at the finish.
Has clearly improved for switch to new trainer on his last three starts, but another step forward from those runs will be necessary here. Return to a course he's a seven-time winner at will help. Solid claims.
Well beaten the last twice but returns to a workable handicap mark as a result. This trip is probably his optimum and is relatively lightly-raced for a five-year-old. Shouldn't be totally discounted on that basis but must overcome a break since August.
Justified favouritism to comfortably win a maiden when last seen in November. This will be tougher but opening handicap mark seems fair and not to be discounted if able to come on for that win.
Has never really threatened over than when winning a poor quality contest here back in December. Has not totally disgraced himself in similar races to this in the past but another big step forward would be needed.

TANGRAMM has been disappointing recently but on each occasion that can be put down to either the trip, the surface, or both. A four-time C&D winner, he looks to be the one to be with once again today. Another distance specialist in Craftsmanship can prove the main danger, while French import A L'anglaise adds a fascinating extra dimension to this open-looking race on her British debut.
