Faded late on on most recent outing behind a progressive rival at Kempton in december. Useful performer on his day and regularly runs well in decent handicaps, every chance of defying top weight for a leading stable here.
Valuable handicap winner at Ascot off this mark in december 2013 and dual winner over fences last season. Disappointing since then however including over hurdles at big prices the last twice, this looks an easier contest and he hails from a top stable.
Winner at Fontwell off 10lb lower mark and runner-up at the same venue off this mark last week. Disappointing efforts over fences in between and this looks tougher but interesting that he's turned out so quickly after his latest run.
Winner of two of his 11 outings to date and run well in defeat the last twice. Dropped 2lbs for his most recent defeat at Hereford on soft ground, likely to have ground conditions to suit and likely to go well here.
Victorious on his first four outings under rules for this yard in 2015 but sole success since came when justifying odds-on favouritism over fences at Worcester in september. Well beaten on return to hurdles latest and a bit to prove at present.
Runner-up on latest outing and dual winner at his track last spring. Races off just 1lb higher mark than for that success though likely that this local runner would ideally prefer better ground than he's likely to encounter here.
Veteran performer who finished in the frame over three miles on his most recent outing. Rated 14lbs higher than for his most recent success at Market Rasen just over 13 months ago and he would appear to have a bit to do with the principles here.
Winner of two of his last three outings over hurdles, races off the same mark that saw him finish runner-up to subsequent winner Clyne and he looks to be a leading player in this.
Winner of his penultimate start by a head over CD in december. Well held back over this CD last time out and needs to bounce back here.
Best efforts have come when attempting to make all, including when victorious in a valuable contest at Haydock in 2013. No win since then and appears to be held by the handicapper at present.

The unexposed VERNI can get back on track following his defeat at Haydock last time out by taking what looks a competitive handicap hurdle. The change in tactics (usually races prominently) didn't appear to work when runner-up last time out and he can bounce back here by defeating the top weight Dell'Arca and last weeks Fontwell runner-up Remiluc.
