Headed near the finish over a shorter trip on his penultimate start at Wolverhampton early last month, and raced far too keenly latest. Needs to settle better to get home over this stiff 7f.
Placed on each of his last four starts over the past month or so including when third (Disclosure second) over 6f at Wolverhampton three starts back. Has twice went very close subsequently over this trip at Lingfield, but has inched up a few pounds to a mark of 58 as a result. Stiffer track to contend with in the first time visor tonight.
C&D winner in September from a 1lb higher mark but has raced here now on each of his last seven starts, and whilst broadly consistent tends to get going all too late to be involved in the shake up.
C&D Classified Stakes winner here in December, who raced too keenly over a mile at this track on his penultimate start, but seemed suited by dropping back to this trip when runner up to Black Hambleton in a similar contest at this track last week.
Has finished last on each of his last two starts, but those runs have come over trips upto 1m 2f. He looks to be regressing quickly (dropped 12lb since early December), but his sole win did come over this trip in a Musselburgh median auction maiden in September 2015.
Sprung a massive 25/1 shock when dropping back to a mile here in early November in a race that has worked out well, and has maintained her form since (finished runner up on each of her last two starts). Races from a mark just 6lb higher than her last winning one, having seemingly proved herself equally as effective over 7f on her most recent start.
Very difficult to knock her most recent run at this track over a mile (for this rider) when she saw off all bar the winner Yasood. She'd previously got within a length of Justice Pleasing over C&D in December, and like that rival is broadly more consistent of late at this lowly level.
Produced his best run for this trainer last time here over a mile when finishing fifth to Yasood (Canford Belle second, A Boy Named Sue fourth) and holds a chance on better terms. However, dropping back to 7f, a less tardy start is important.
Stable saddled a winner and a runner up at Newcastle last week, and this gelding also ran well over a mile when fourth to Yasood ten days ago (Canford Belle second, Devious Spirit fifth). That race was his first start since August 2016, so could be expected to improve more than those other rivals, but could have been better drawn back over this shorter trip.
Has been with numerous trainers, but most latterly has shown precious little for Susan Corbett. Sent off joint favourite recently on debut for this shrewd yard at Wolverhampton (1m+), but could only finish ninth of 12 after a slow start. Dropped back in trip tonight, and could show more from a basement mark, but needs to with his last success coming way back in February 2015 for Noel Quinlan.
13 race maiden, who showed improved form on her penultimate start in a muddling race over 1m at Newcastle in late December. Rated just 45, and unappealing overall.
Very interesting jockey booking for a shrewd trainer known to be prone to the odd gamble. Finished an encouraging fourth on debut for this trainer over 6f in December (Canford Belle third), and did go close for previous trainer Jim Goldie over C&D back in September from a 7lb higher mark. Now rated just 44.
Not won since May 2013 (awarded the race), but only just returned from a three year absence in July 2016. However, has shown little in five runs (twice here) for Sean Regan so easily passed over in favour of others.

A race which is very hard to get to grips with despite the volumes of course form to wade through. The likes of Cool Strutter, Justice Pleasing, Table Manners and Canford Belle are Newcastle regulars, with perhaps Table Manners preferred from that quarter. Peter Niven has his string in good form, and A Boy Named Sioux can be expected to improve for his recent return, but hasn't been done any favours by the draw. Therefore, the vote goes to the Ken Slack trained CENTRE HAAFHD in the very capable hands of Lewis Edmunds. His mark of 44 is 7lb lower than when finishing runner up to Fine Example over C&D in September, and he can go well on just his second start for a trainer who is much respected up North.
