A rare misfire at this venue last time, possibly paying the price for contested lead a long way out. No surprise to see eight-time course winner back in the mix now.
Mare has gone close on couple of occasions over C&D recently, may do so again but suspicion that she's playing for minor money.
Just three starts on the AW for the four-year-old, improving each time. Went closest last time when upped to 1m4f, now drops backs in distance.
Remains a maiden after 17 races but ran most promising race for some time when close-up fourth over C&D last month off 1lb higher. Entitled to have a say in this.
Hasn't been showing too much over hurdles recently but has gone close over the mile round here in the past and one to note on return to Flat/AW circuit.
Remains lightly raced after four attempts on this surface, ran promisingly to be fourth of 13 over 1m4f last month, drops in trip now and could be open to progress on the AW.
Record around here is uninspiring and worst attempt yet when attempting this trip for the first time in December, not completely written off but best watched for now.
Five-race maiden over hurdles, mare didn't threaten on AW bow over a mile at this track late last month.
Good effort over C&D early last month, beaten just half-a-length. 2lb lower now and this trip much more appealing than the mile he's since run at.
Has two wins from seven attempts on the AW but two recent efforts here have been very underwhelming and most recent success came in March 2015.
Well beat on return from layoff over 7f here last month, attempting this trip for the first time and would require career-best effort to have any say in the finish.
On a long losing streak now and step up in trip last time at this venue did nothing to aid claims, drops back in distance but tough to see the mare striking in this.
Forecasts
Hes Our Music (2/1), Catchy Lass (5/2), Fire And Passion (6/1), Ineffable (7/1), Six Silver Lane (10/1), Fisherman's Blues (10/1), No Biggie (20/1), King Christophe (20/1), Indian Tomahawk (33/1), Dilly Daydream (50/1), Torthai An Ghra (100/1), Coral Pearl (100/1)
HES OUR MUSIC is forgiven a flat performance last time out. He likes to lead but was harried in front then and eventually paid the price, he has a good chance of bouncing back to form on these terms. Catchy Lass and Fisherman's Blues have both been running consistently at this venue of late and will be expected to do so again. Should the selection fail to perform, they look most likely to benefit. Six Silver Lane put in a solid effort over C&D last month and is fancied to go well now back at this trip while Ineffable has a chance on his previous AW form having been jumping of late.
1. Hes Our Music
2. Catchy Lass
3. Six Silver Lane
