Not much encouragement in three hurdles starts thus far. Much more needed here.
Dual winner on the Flat but had over a year off prior to finishing well beaten here a month ago and a similar result looks like in this.
Point-to-point winner in may, well held in two novice hurdles prior to unseating early last time out and likely to be seen to better effect once tackling handicaps.
Runner-up in a point-to-point in march but not much to recommend him on based on three hurdles outings so far.
Shaped better than the bare result suggested when tackling soft ground for the first time here on hurdling debut last time out and chances if repeating that effort.
Sent off favourite when finishing runner-up on debut at Warwick just over a month ago. Breeding suggests will appreciate further in time but looks the one to beat for a top yard.
Point-to-point winner in april, pulled up and fifth on two outings for this yard so far and likely to prove better suited to handicaps.
No form so far including when tailed off in a bumper at Warwick last time out and plenty to prove here.
Fair Flat horse a few years ago, poor point-to-pointer more recently and well held in two hurdles runs, including in cheekpieces this winter.
Useful handicapper on the flat for a leading yard two in 2015. Unraced last year and untried on likely ground conditions, interesting contender.
Well beaten in two outings for previous yard in late 2016 and change of yard seemed to bring about only limited improvement here last month. Likely to make more impact in handicaps.
Well beaten on all three hurdles outings so far, won twice on the Flat but best form has come on ground markedly different from today's likely conditions.

DIAMOND FORT can give his trainer a local success by running out the winner of this maiden hurdle. The gelding finished third over this CD last time out and may have fared better but for running wide after the second last hurdle and he is taken to get the better of hurdling debutant Ice Cool Champs and the useful flat performer Subcontinent in what looks to be a competitive
