Improving and has twice beaten Eurato at Wolverhampton over this trip this year. Needs to show he is as effective on Fibresand, but clearly in form and has a good chance under the penalty.

Worth a try at this trip given his one paced second to Tatting here last time (over two furlongs shorter) but no handicap win since 2014 and claimers look more his level these days.

Not seen since last July when finishing fifth at Thirsk, but has a good record at Southwell (three wins from wight runs) and is proven at the trip. May have more improvement to come but the worry is the yard are a bit quiet at present.

Improved effort when winning over C&D last time out, staying on strongly to take an Amatuer Riders event. 5lb rise for that looks fair, and may well improve further.

Run at Wolverhampton last time out can be forgiven as he was badly hampered at one stage, but only previous effort at Southwell was well below form and hasn't won since 2015. Up against some in form sorts here and needs to bounce back.

Forecasts

Start Seven (4/5), Free Bounty (15/8), Brigadoon (14/1), Scrafton (16/1), Moonshine Ridge (16/1)

Verdict

The proven ability of Free Bounty on this surface just swings the verdict his way. Only 4 and with likely improvement to come, he was impressive when coming from off the pace to win over C&D last time out. Seems to go well for a lady rider and Hollie Doyle already has a good effort on him to her name. He's taken to get the better of Start Seven, in good form but has no experience of the Fibresand. He can take a hold too, and will need to settle to get home. Brigadoon may stick on for third on his debut at the trip here. 1. Free Bounty 2. Start Seven 3. Brigadoon
