Dual-performer was in rattling good form when last seen in the autumn, taking Grade Two event at Tipperary with plenty up his sleeve and is sure to take some beating.
Going the right way last season, most recent run brought Grade Two novice win over two-miles at Fairyhouse in April. First run since and not to be passed over easily.
Race fit and gave a sound beating to Monksland over 2m4f on New Year's Eve, drops in trip this time and may just find things happening quicker than he'd like.
Was once a two-mile chaser seemingly with genuine potential but lost his way and very hard to make a case for him on recent showings.
Forecasts
Supasundae (11/8), Ivan Grozny (6/4), Sutton Place (4/1), Ttebbob (20/1), Minella Foru (20/1), Hunters Call (33/1)
This looks a fascinating clash between the top three runners with preference for IVAN GROZNY. He was in excellent fettle back in the autumn when last seen, landing a Grade Two at this trip with very little fuss and can pick up where he left off for the champion trainer. Sutton Place was on an upward curve too back in the spring but he'll have to pull out some more to get the better of the selection on his first run for 306 days. Supasundae has fitness and a recent win in his favour but the drop in trip isn't necessarily a positive thing.
1. Ivan Grozny
2. Sutton Place
3. Supasundae
