Missed out by a neck around this time last week at Lingfield on just his third start but that was a muddling affair and the assessor who has given him his official rating appears to have taken that form literally. Likely to be of warm order considering the connections, but has to concede weight all round here and others have better form in the book.
Two respectable efforts to date and step up in trip looks a sensible move but wins may be more likely to come in handicaps.
Smart second at Doncaster behind a smart sort and the third from that race has come out and franked the form several times since. Disappointed at Chelmsford last time out but that was the first run after a break and this drop in trip looks more suitable. Leading player.
Disappointing in two starts to date, showing very little. Likely to do better with time.
Barely beaten a rival home in four starts to date and trainers yet to have a Flat winner. Hard to fancy against rivals who have shown a great deal more and with a significant absence to overcome.
Struggled in both codes to date and not likely to find this any easier on AW debut.
Two time winner in bumpers but hasn't really taken that form into hurdles and disappointing when last seen on the Flat. Not without a place chance in this line-up though.
Only beaten six rivals home in a total of seven races and needs the significant step up in trip and a lengthy absence to work wonders.
Forecasts
Ceyhan (4/11), Lord Napier (5/2), Belabour (5/1), Hannah Just Hannah (14/1), Mr Standfast (50/1), Feisty Girl (66/1), Mamnoon (100/1), Selena Rose (125/1)
Ceyhan may come on for his recent reappearance at Lingfield where he finished a close second but that was a muddling affair and the form may not be up to much. LORD NAPIER's runner-up form at Doncaster on the other hand is another kettle of fish and if he can get back to that level he will take all the beating here. Belabour has performed to a respectable level so far and may be able to grab some prize money.
1. Lord Napier
2. Belabour
3. Ceyhan
