Well down the field in jumps bow in two-mile novice event at Punchestown recently, likely similar fate in this.

Bumper winner who showed improvement on second start over these obstacles to be second at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day (Awayinthewest third) and likely has a big chance in this.
Made a fair start over flights at Leopardstown last month, jumping not the most fluent but that was a decent learning curve. Should be competitive here.
Has struggled in two starts at this game, including when beaten a long way at Thurles earlier in the week.
Apparent third-string for trainer here based on jockey bookings, was beaten a long way from home in 2m4f maiden at Fairyhouse in November.
Has been modest in two starts over hurdles since joining leading yard, should be more to come in time but would require a dramatic jump forward to land this contest.

Bargy Lady is likely to be short enough in the betting based on what she's achieved to date in two starts, although she is clearly in with a great chance here. Her Fairyhouse form latest entitles Awayinthewest to have a big say in this contest as well while Toe The Line should also play a prominent role but was behind both those rivals last time out. JELAN made a promising start at Leopardstown last month and must have every chance of improving today. Granted some more fluency at her hurdles, she can be a threat to all comers.
