A winner over 7f here (on turf) in August 2015 for Tony Coyle and not been with this yard for too long. 11th of 12 on stable debut over this C&D in November, a run that was left firmly behind when a three quarter length runner up to Galilee Chapel over 1m2f in late December (fourth Genres has won since). Drops back in trip today from a 1lb higher mark.
Last three runs have been over 7f, but did win over this trip off a mark of 67 on turf at Redcar in September (seller). Not quite as effective on the AW as turf, with sole AW success off this mark at Lingfield in October 2015.
C&D winner in November off a mark of 56 (beat subsequent winners including Swansway and Great Colaci), and lost little in defeat off a 4lbs higher mark when runner up in early December. Not as good last time in a muddling affair when fifth to The Magic Pencil (runs in the 7.45pm) but still respected off recent high of 64.
Produced best run for some time when third to Swansway and Bromance (both run in the 7.45pm) over C&D late last month. Dropped a 1lb since and clear contender if able to build upon that run for the same rider.
Maiden after 15 runs under rules (six on the AW) and falling in the weights, but needs to step up on debut at this track.
Veteran who tends to save his best for his beloved Redcar, but forced here for his last four races, and not disgraced when roughly three lengths fourth to Testa Rossa in October. Fallen 6lbs now to a mark of 58 and this is marginally easier, but held by Fooland on his last run over C&D in December. First time blinkered.
Had the run of the race (led) when just prevailing over this trip at Chelmsford in September, but held by both Fooland and Broctune Papa Gio on his December C&D ninth of 11 and seemingly not suited by a step up in trip last time at Wolverhampton.
A good mare for Chris Fairhurst during her career, but has recently turned 11. Raced exclusively here this winter and placed on three occasions including twice at this trip, but still an AW maiden after 15 starts on synthetics.
Not raced since August 2015 (over jumps at Cartmel), but a two time Flat winner on turf; albeit in a seller and claimer for Stan Moore back in 2013. Lengthy absence to overcome for a Borders yard who have saddled winners here on Tapeta.
Showed absolutely nothing in three runs for Colin Teague during May and July 2016 and absent since. Readily opposed on stable debut despite having won twice on Tapeta in the past (at Wolverhampton in early 2015) for Stuart Williams.

By far the weaker of the two divisions of this 1m handicap. Lozah can be expected to run a better race than last time (muddling pace) despite reaching a recent high handicap mark of 64, whilst Richard Guest appears to be getting to know Pickett's Charge, and it would be no surprise to see this drop back to the straight mile suit despite a difficult draw. However, this can go the way of FOOLAND, who has surprisingly been dropped a pound by the handicapper since finishing third to Swansway and Bromance over C&D last week, which could appear to be a right 'rick' by the assessor following the result of Division 1 at 7.45pm.
