Remains a maiden after 15 starts, but twice a runner up here, including in a low grade handicap over 6f during the past few months. Unlikely to be suited by this trip.
Stable out of form, but entitled to have needed his debut for the yard (after an eight month absence) at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day. Could do better in a very weak maiden.
Cost €32,000 as a two-year-old, and made a belated racecourse debut at Wolverhampton in mid December. Finished fifth of nine (best of the stables three runners) and can do better with time.
Not beaten a single rival in two starts on turf at Musselburgh and York, but was well backed on debut, so presumably had shown something at home. Hard to know what to expect on AW debut with the market informative.
Beaten by a 66/1 shot in a claimer at Beverley in September, and now a three time runner up. Might have needed the race last week when third to Royal Celebration and Snuggy, and a contender in a desperate race.
Not beaten all that far when third on debut at Wolverhampton last month (Highly Focussed fifth), but only ran to a similar level next time in a fillies maiden behind the Hugo Palmer trained Garam. Likely contender.
Forecasts
Scuzeme (7/4), School Run (7/2), Local Artist (7/2), Absolutely Awesome (5/1), Highly Focussed (15/2), Nefetari (33/1), Catskill (33/1)
A fairly desperate looking maiden on which we shouldn't dwell for too long. However, SCHOOL RUN should take all of the beating based upon what relatively little she's achieved in AW maidens to date, with the market likely massively informative for the chances of Scuzeme, and the exposed Local Artist entitled to benefit for the run here last week.
1. School Run
2. Local Artist
3. Highly Focussed
