Improved from his debut on his second start in a C&D maiden where he still looked green and might be better suited by a stiffer test.
Formerly trained in France and makes his second start for his new yard here. Very well fancied in the betting on his GB debut but the winner got first run on him; better expected here.
Two runs so far in maidens and improved on his debut last time out when fourth over C&D looking more the finished article on that occasion. Does need to take another step forward here to take a hand with a few others looking stronger.
Made a marked step forward from his debut at Newcastle last time out over 7f and looks one to carry on improving after that run.
Just the one run so far in a Wolverhampton maiden and well held in that affair where he looked very inexperienced.
Plenty of stamina in the pedigree and wasn't suited by a muddling race at Lingfield over 7f on debut. Likely to be suited by further in time and looks one for handicaps down the line.
Form looks rather modest so far and there wasn't that much improvement from his debut at Wolverhampton last time out.
Well held in two maidens so far and one suspects it will be the handicap route for him after this run.
Big price and very green on debut over C&D and the experience looked to be very much needed.
Forecasts
Al Yarmouk (11/8), Revolutionary War (7/4), Galinthias (8/1), Dragons Voice (12/1), Mikey Ready (16/1), Tifl (16/1), Surfside (28/1), Dark Titan (33/1), Seeing Things (100/1)
AL YARMOUK took a big step forward when he was second at Newcastle last time out and with an extra furlong to travel here and the headgear applied for the first time he looks a solid market leader. Galinthias looks a very similar sort to the favourite but he does have to give away weight here and that might just test him. Revolutionary War is another who is expected to come on for his run last time out where he didn’t really get the run of the race. Of the others Dragons Voice looks one to watch for the future with this extra furlong sure to suit and handicaps on the agenda once he has a mark.
1. Al Yarmouk
2. Galinthias
3. Revolutionary War
