May have needed the run on her reappearance last time so can be expected to make a bold attempt now the tubes have been opened. She is 7lb below her last winning mark and feasible that top weight may not be such an issue in this company.
Fared well in what was a stiff test in a Listed race at Haydock last month and respected on that run alone. She benefitted from a strong pace when winning at Ludlow last season and a similar scenario will play to her strengths here.
Has been cut some slack by the handicapper but she has struggled to find her level recently and may find one or two have her measure.
Hurdles winner in France who joined current yard for €100,000 in the summer. She did little wrong on her British debut and is in the right hands to develop. The form of that Chepstow second has subsequently taken a knock but this is a weak contest and she is certainly one of the more interesting contenders.
Pulled up latest and needs to put that effort to rest pretty quickly. However, she had previously looked progressive at a modest level so can pay her way again before too long. This does appear to be a tough assignment for her though.
This is a lot tougher than the race she won at Newcastle last month and considering the way she was left behind on her latest start, she may struggle to keep up the pressure if this develops into a slog for the line.
Potentially well treated and capable on her day. However, she needs luck on her side and may still need to drop a little lower in the weights.
Experienced in point-to-points and is slowly getting to grips with things over hurdles. She has proved her fitness in a couple of recent starts so may be good value to play a strong part if she manages to stay out of trouble.
Forecasts
Shaama Grise (5/4), Bells On Sunday (7/2), Atlanta Ablaze (6/1), Culture De Sivola (11/1), Misty Mai (11/1), Hidden Identity (12/1), At First Light (16/1), Loves Destination (25/1)
MISTY MAI is improving over hurdles and may represent the best value here over Shaama Grise, who is admittedly hard to oppose but is still on a steep learning curve in the UK and so makes limited appeal at the likely odds. Hidden Identity should strip fitter after her reappearance and has strong each way claims, if the eight stand their ground.
1. Misty Mai
2. Shaama Grise
3. Hidden Identity
