Mixed record when fresh but is capable on his day and worth noting in the betting. Needs to better his latest effort though.
Pulled up here latest and obviously needs to brush away the memory of that effort. He did manage a win over fences at Exeter last May (4lb higher here) but has struggled since.
Nothing to recommend a strong interest would be very worthwhile judging by his last two starts. He did win here over hurdles but it would be a leap of faith to suggest the return to Ludlow is going to work the oracle.
Failed to complete last time and has become hard to win with. Place claims at best again here.
Best when able to dominate and is better than he showed last time out. His yard's form has been a little patchy in the last fortnight, though. Not one to trust implicitly but capable of making the frame if he manages to keep something in reserve for the finish.
Best recent form figures but debatable as to whether most of it stands up to scrutiny. She has more to do in this company and faces a stiff test from a 10lb higher mark than last time.
Was pulled up at a similar point to Royal Palladium at Newbury last time out and it may simply be a case of his solid exploits combined with a steady rise up the weights have caught up with him. Respected but may find a couple are better handicapped today.
Won at Catterick back in December 2015 but has been out of sorts since then. Hard to fancy after an early unseating last time, as his previous three starts have all been very moderate.

Jonjo O’Neill should never be underestimated with his staying chasers and it may be worth forgiving CAPARD KING a below par run last time out. He has very little to find on the pick of his form and may have too much resilience for Port Mellon and Royal Palladium.
