Handicap chase winner here from a 3lb lower mark last year when with Dan Skelton, though has been in the handicapper's grip since. Did win a heavy ground bumper, though all subsequent wins on a sound surface and plenty to do with top weight to shoulder.
Up 5lb for 2m 1f win here on Boxing Day on good to soft and, while he may again go well, his profile suggests that he is at the ceiling of his ability.
Former Charlie Mann-trained gelding who has won three times since switching to current connections last spring, including a 2m 4f handicap chase at Sedgefield last time. Up 5lb for that success, but certainly not ruled out on ground that will suit.
Blinkers applied for the first time here (has won in cheekpieces) and a tumbling mark mean that this experienced performer cannot be totally ruled out, although ideally would prefer slightly better conditions.
Yet to win in five attempts over fences, making the frame just once, though has previously won a bumper and two handicap hurdles here. Locally trained and 8lb below that latest winning hurdles mark. Conditions no problem and a market check advised.
Comes into this on the same mark as when a 2m 3f handicap chase winner (good to soft) here in 2014. Won both a hurdle and a chase off lower ratings since, though was a beaten favourite at Warwick last time. Solid claims for a consistent sort.

Plenty of previous course form to draw upon here though we will side with one who has not yet won around here, ATTIMO, to do so this time. Trainer Sam England has quickly found the key to this gelding and despite a 5lb rise for winning last time, he may just have it in him to record back-to-back wins for a second time. Noble Legend is plummeting in the weights and could be galvanised by first-time blinkers, though Highbury High is a more likely danger as he usually runs his race. Make Me A Fortune loves it here and has a squeak if able to transfer his hurdling abilities to chasing, so any market confidence would probably be significant.
