Wide margin winner over C&D last May, but handicapper did not miss that performance and looks to be held from this mark at present, with ground not ideal.
Lightly-raced despite his advancing years and has clearly had his problems. Has his first run since 2014 here and is 6lb below his last win, so handicapper has given him a squeak if he is fit enough to do himself justice. Represents a yard who had a recent winner.
Comes here with confidence high after taking a 2m 4f Huntingdon handicap hurdle last week. Gave the impression that an extra half mile is within his compass, handles cut in the ground and may be capable of improvement.
Soft ground novices' hurdle winner over 2m 2f here last year who has recently been chasing to no avail. Connections clearly feel that he will stay and with a sliding mark plus conditions to suit, a good run would be no surprise.
Seen to best effect in the testing conditions that he will get today, this former Grade Two winning hurdler is not the force he was, but performed with credit when making the frame here last time. Races from the same mark here, though has never fully convinced over this far.
Disqualified after jockey lost 2lb of lead from his saddle on route to being first home at Catterick last time. Compensation may await here, although he has still gone up 4lb despite that mishap, meaning that this won't be easy. Stays well and handles cut are both ticks in the positive column.
Has done reasonably well in both chases and hurdles at around 2m 4f and scored from a mark of 106 at Fakenham in October over a similar distance to today's. Handicapper has held sway since and he remains 2lb higher at present.
Abundant stamina is the key for this former Jessica Harrington inmate, who has won twice for current connections, most recently at Sedgefield last April. Handles soft ground well and with the yard recently having broken a lengthy spell in the doldrums she could go close.
0-12 under rules but not that long since the Irish handicapper had this mare pegged at 116, so may be capable from this mark. Would have liked to have seen a little more sparkle of late, but makes her debut for new connections here and a market check is advised.
Veteran whose sole hurdling win came four years ago as a novice and who comes into this from 2lb out of the handicap and with a seven month absence to overcome. Not too difficult to oppose.

One or two interesting propositions here and with her yard coming back into form today could be the day to catch the thorough stayer FRESH BY NATURE. Brian Boranha has been unlucky to receive a rise in the weights despite being disqualified last time, but he can again go well, while Wicked Willy should be thereabouts after scoring last time. Keep an eye on the market where both Sue Oscar and Mr Utah are concerned.
