Steps up in trip after posting a solid effort to win on heavy ground last time out. Cheekpieces are left off today but he may well find a bit more improvement over this distance.

Not the most encouraging performances over fences so far and he may well find his level in handicaps, he looks one to be wary of just for now.

Progressing nicely but needs to keep up the momentum with another step up grade. Has winning form on heavy so shouldn't be troubled by the ground, though.

Faces a stiff test going by recent performances - she was a well beaten third in a very modest race last time, so has a lot to find on balance.

Finds it hard to get his head in front over fences and isn't one to trust implicitly. Was still in contention when he fell last time out but still has something to prove regarding his willingness in a finish.

Was in third but going nowhere when he unseated near the finish in his latest outing. Possible the drop in distance will ease the pressure on his stamina but he is yet to win over fences and others have a more appealing profile.

Shaped up well on his chase debut and was far from disgraced over a trip which stretched his stamina last time. Certainly going the right way and makes it to the top of the shortlist for contention.

Disappointing favourite last time out and also has a little to find with Laid Back Luke from their encounter at Clonmel last month. Still, he is on an upwards curve and should find today's trip to his liking. Solid chance.

Not really caught the imagination with his exploits over fences and he would appear to be one to be wary of just now. He can make the running but appears to falter when under pressure. Has been kept busy on AW surfaces.

Returned from a first long absence with only a moderate effort over hurdles in Killarney when he was last seen out. He has a lot to find on a literal reading of that form and, given that we haven't seen him on a racecourse for almost two years since then, a watching brief has to be the most sensible recommendation
