Forecasts

Mount Mews (30/100), Melrose Boy (7/2), Creep Desbois (7/2), Eaton Hill (10/1), Ronn The Conn (100/1), Hollins Hill (200/1), Emerald Thief (200/1), Cyrano Star (200/1)

Verdict

Despite the relatively small field, half of the runners make some sort of appeal. Melrose Boy represents Harry Fry, whose runners are flying at present and it would be no surprise to see him build on a profile of steady improvement. Trainer Kerry Lee does not venture all the way to this track without her runners having claims and therefore Eaton Hill has to be taken seriously, while Crisp Desbois is another who can continue to progress. However, preference is for Mount Mews, who has looked a classy, progressive performer to date and despite his penalty, he can take this step up in trip in his stride. 1. Mount Mews 2. Eaton Hill 3. Melrose Boy
