Last month's C&D contest won by Red Avenger looks the key to this race. That was a second win at the track for a horse with a good AW record in Britain but he was clinging on at the end has another 3lbs to contend with now. Runner-up CHESTNUT FIRE has been a model of consistency this season and with his claimer on top he can turn the tables here for a third victory at the track this season. The Mouse Doctor and Reckless Lad are closely matched with that pair on ratings and should be on the premises, while Political Policy has a chance of adding to his tally around here now dropped in trip.
