Returning 6f Redcar Listed Two-Year-Old Trophy winner, who is one for one on synthetics, scoring on Fibresand over this C&D on debut back in April 2016. Clearly versatile in terms of trip and surface, concedes upwards of eight pounds to his rivals.
Runner up to a progressive sort in a 6f nursery at Newcastle late last month, having previously landed a median auction maiden over this trip (also on Tapeta) at Wolverhampton a week earlier. Fibresand debut.

7/2
Two from six on the AW, and unbeaten here having taken a 6f nursery by two lengths under John Egan in mid December. Kept on the go since and out of depth in a conditions stakes at Wolverhampton on Saturday.
Broke her maiden tag at the sixth attempt when a decisive four and a half lengths scorer of a maiden auction stakes over C&D last month. Up sharply in grade with John Egan taking over in the saddle.
AW debut, and absent since finishing third in a 5f nursery at Ripon in late August. Sole success so far came when beating Wick Powell by a neck (in receipt of a stone) at Thirsk in July, and meets that rival who has progressed since on broadly similar terms.
Forecasts
Wick Powell (11/10), Gracious Tom (7/2), Juan Horsepower (5/1), Nuzha (7/1), Major Jumbo (8/1)
A small field, but a good little handicap with four largely in-form rivals, and an AW debutant set to line up. It's not easy to discount any of the runners, but WICK POWELL sports a strong CV with excellent efforts in big field high quality juvenile races on turf the last twice. This small field may be more tactical, but as he usually goes from the front, this shouldn't trouble Andrew Mullen assuming he gets the fractions right. Form on this surface is important, and he can also boast that alongside both Gracious Tom and Nuzha.
1. Wick Powell
2. Nuzha
3. Juan Horsepower
