C&D winner here in November but has a job on to repeat now conceding weight all round, no threat recently in Listed mares' event at Taunton.

Age: 5|  Weight: 11-0| J: N D Fehily| T: C J Mann
66/1
Quickly faded on hurdles bow at Wetherby on Boxing Day having raced prominently, drops in trip now has it all to do.
3
Horse silk
4/1
Bumper winner in the spring and has run well in two outings in that sphere this term, ensuring she's race-fit for this bow over jumps.

7/1
Two good efforts in maiden hurdles at Towcester so far, runner-up both times and showing a good attitude latest to stick on.
Only a fair effort on hurdles bow at Plumpton last month, gives her plenty to work on now.

Forecasts

The Nipper (8/13), Peggies Venture (5/2), Naranja (4/1), Phoeniciana (7/1), Soiesauvage (12/1), Westerbee (20/1), The Golden Hour (50/1), Apalis (66/1), Spanish Queen (150/1)

Verdict

The Nipper has her own ideas about the game at times but she retains plenty potential and has the best in the business on board to keep her straight here. Phoeniciana has done little wrong in two starts and can soon get off the mark but PEGGIES VENTURE has been fairly reliable in bumpers and her trainer should have her primed for her first look at some obstacles. With less quirks seemingly, she earns the vote. Westerbee won from the front here in November but faces a stiff task now conceding weight. 1. Peggies Venture 2. The Nipper 3. Phoeniciana
