Recorded a smooth success at Ludlow in November but not in the same form next time out at Taunton. Short break since and concedes weight all round now.

Violets Girl28
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-11| J: Mr S Clements| T: Nick Mitchell| OR:  99
11/1
Plenty chances over hurdles but did hit the frame last time out at Exeter, goes up in trip again here.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-10| J: Mr J J O'Neill(7)| T: J & A O'Neill| OR:  98

Remote third at Warwick last month, dropping in the weights steadily and entitled to land a blow soon.

Rainbow Haze45
Age: 11|  Weight: 11-9| J: Conor Orr(7)| T: P C Dando| OR:  97

Chepstow scorer two years ago, couple of runs at Ffos Las last month should have him straight now and step up in trip will help.

Consistent handicapper this season and went closest at this track last month over this trip. Big player on that form.

Rediscovered his mojo at Southwell last month on second start for new trainer. Merits plenty respect if turning up in the same form now.
7

Act Fourt29
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-1| J: Mr Ed Bailey(7)| T: M Sheppard| OR:  89

Well held all three starts this winter but coming down in the handicap now.
8

Doesn't win too many races but capable of hitting the frame at this sort of trip and merits consideration for each-way backers.
9
Horse silk
Late Shipmentp32
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-0| J: R Patrick(7)| T: Mrs N S Evans| OR:  88
5/1
Not the most straightforward client based on runner-up finish at Exeter last month. Rider retains the partnership here and chances would be improved if not hanging.

Galros Ladyp41
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-0| J: Mr E David(7)| T: Tim Vaughan| OR:  88
16/1
Easy scorer at Lingfield over fences on stable debut in November. Pulled up when turned out quickly again and possible that fences may be his game, cheekpieces on for this return to smaller obstacles.

Veauce De Sivolat34
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-6| J: Mitchell Bastyan(7)| T: B Barr| OR:  80
16/1
Hasn't show a lot in two starts for this yard, most recently in June when pulled up at Southwell. Would have a chance on best form.
12
Horse silk
Staunton31
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-0| J: Sean Houlihan(7)| T: Mrs S Johnson| OR:  74
9/2
Not beaten all that far in two runs at Ludlow and Wincanton last month, latest when sent off favourite and has her claims here once more.

Horse silk
Tisfreetdreamp9
Age: 16|  Weight: 10-0| J: Jordan Nailor(7)| T: P A Pritchard| OR:  69
66/1
Won at Southwell in February but very much in and out since and cannot be relied upon to put best foot forward. Advancing years also a cause for concern.

Horse silk
Raduis Bleu15
Age: 12|  Weight: 10-0| J: Miss L Brooke(3)| T: Lady S Brooke| OR:  68
66/1
Has it all to do on recent form and at these weights on return to hurdling.

Forecasts

Staunton (9/2), Late Shipment (5/1), That's Gonna Sting (5/1), Rainbow Haze (10/1), Violets Girl (11/1), Celtic Tune (12/1), Flemi Two Toes (12/1), Young Lou (12/1), Galros Lady (16/1), Act Four (16/1), Veauce De Sivola (16/1), Storm Alert (20/1), Raduis Bleu (66/1), Tisfreetdream (66/1)

Verdict

YOUNG LOU showed a liking for this track last month when a close-up third over the trip and can possibly get her head in front now in a competitive opener. That's Gonna Sting scored nicely at Ludlow in November and might just have found Taunton too soon on the back of that run. Flemi Two Toes was right back in the groove at Southwell and would be a player if in similar mood here while Staunton has been knocking on the door and could get in soon. 1. Young Lou 2. That's Gonna Sting 3. Flemi Two Toes
