Course winner over hurdles (off 116) at a marginally shorter trip (stayed on strongly) in September 2013, but only raced three times since. Back here from almost two years off (a second lengthy absence) with fitness taken on trust dropped back to a mark of 120.
A winner of a small field 3m novices handicap chase at Southwell in August, but struggled off higher marks mainly at Class 3 level in four starts since. Back in a similar contest from a more realistic mark of 119 and has chances if able to up his game slightly.
Chasing debutant who rattled off a hurdles hat-trick (two for previous trainer Anna Brookes) between May and November of 2016. Versatile in terms of trip from 2m4f to 3m, but a mark of 120 was beyond him on final hurdles start, and stiff task here on fencing debut off 118.
Took a 2m maiden hurdle on final start over timber at Ludlow in February (Soft). Possibly needed the run after ten months off when seventh of 10 (beaten favourite) on chasing debut at Lingfield last month.
Rules chasing debutant (0-5 in PTP's). Stayed on well over this trip despite flattening the last hurdle when winning at Ffos Las in October (off 108). Twice beaten over further since, and suited by dropping back for rules chasing debut.
Maiden in 14 career starts so far, but third on her chase debut for this yard (one run previously in France over fences) at Uttoxeter early last month. Could build upon that experience given her trainers reputation with chasers.
Maiden, but a four time runner up in ten career starts, including on chase debut at Stratford in October. Significantly less promise last time at Wincanton, but a major plus to have the champion jockey taking the mount.
Left previous form well behind him when rattling off a four timer over hurdles between February and November 2016 (rising from a mark of 74 to 100). Not always fluent, but a 13 length runner up to Cabragh (runs at 1.15pm) on chasing debut at Sedgefield, and up a further 4lbs to 105. Contender.

A compact and competitive event which features a couple of multiple winning hurdlers (Vinegar Hill and On The Road) seeking to translate improvement in that sphere to fences, with On The Road possibly seeing his chance bolstered by a bold showing from Cabragh earlier on the card. Market support could be telling for the likes of Britanio Bello and Truckers Glory, but in an open looking affair its worth chancing BENZEL who drops back to a more realistic mark and does at least boast a victory in a similar event at Southwell in August to his name.
