Consistent over hurdles after joining Martin Keighley early this year but hasn't look as comfortable in two chase starts this winter.

Well-bred sort who promised much when scoring over hurdles at Grade 2 level in 2014. Hasn't lived up to that billing but game Beginners' Chase winner at Uttoxeter when last seen in April.
Losing the argument with odds-on favourite at Doncaster when fell on chase debut earlier this month. Ben Pauling's charge will have his jumping tested once more in this race.

Ran a sound race on reappearance at Stratford in October. Stamina probably exposed in two runs since. Drop in trip helps, but this is a big ask.

Nicky Henderson's lightly-raced charge failed to build on debut win three further starts over hurdles. Point winner in Ireland and worth watching on chase bow.

Charlie Mann's representative was consistent without winning over hurdles. Comes here off a long break and will do well to get involved in the finish.

Ran on late to give Aux Ptits Soins something to think about at Doncaster earlier this month. That was a promising start over fences and should go well for Dr Richard Newland and Sam Twiston-Davies here.

Forecasts

Westren Warrior (7/4), Kilcrea Vale (15/8), Zamdy Man (9/2), Cyrius Moriviere (8/1), Cottersrock (14/1), Royal Redemption (50/1), High Counsel (150/1)

Verdict

Western Warrior was finishing with plenty of gusto at Doncaster on his fencing bow to chase home a smart representative from the champion trainer's yard. He can go well once more but there was plenty to like about ZAMDY MAN's attitude in winning at Uttoxeter in April. Nicky Henderson's chasing debutant Kilcrea Vale is also worth a market check. 1. Zamdy Man 2. Westren Warrior 3. Kilcrea Vale
