He was the wide margin winner of this race twelve months ago. He rarely runs a bad race here and this looks an easier task than last time. He is the one to beat.
His stable are going through a quiet spell. He is slipping down the weights but still appears to have a tough task here.
She represents a stable that have won three of the last six runnings of this race. She is difficult to win with but the yard do well with their hurdlers at this track and she has one the more experienced riders on board.
He has more scope for improvement than most in this lineup. He was in the process of running a big race here before coming to grief two out. The yard's horses are going well at present and he has to respected.
He has conditions to suit and his stable are in form. He has to be respected in an uncompetitive event.
He appeared to have a bright future based on his bumper from but this has not been evident over hurdles. He is best watched here
He has been off the course since May. His best run came on faster ground than he will get here. His handicap mark looks to be on the high side.
She travelled well for a long way at Leicester last time and will come on for the run. She has realistic prospects of reaching a place at least.
His stable are finding winners hard to come by recently. However he has slipped to an attractive mark and the jockey booking catches the eye. He is one to watch in the betting market.
He has gone well around here over fences before. This is his first run after a break and he will probably need the run.
She comes into this race in poor form. Although her stable are respected she is difficult to recommend.
He has failed to complete the course in his last three starts including two refusals. He is difficult to recommend at present.
He has failed to win since scoring over fences here in 2014. He will wear a visor for the first time since joining his new stable. He is on a career low mark but his recent form has not been encouraging.
She has been largely disappointing since winning two races in 2014. She is hard to fancy despite an attractive looking mark.
Forecasts
Danceintothelight (9/4), Cape Hideaway (11/4), Donna's Pride (6/1), Chasma (8/1), Kisumu (16/1), Magnolia Ridge (18/1), Rocky Two (20/1), Bollin Line (33/1), Mahler Bay (33/1), Tennessee Bird (33/1), Dark And Dangerous (50/1), Supreme Gael (50/1), Episode (66/1), Jewellery (100/1)
MAGNOLIA RIDGE was in the process of running his best race so far over hurdles before coming to grief at the second last. On that occasion last year's winner DANCEINTOTHEMOONLIGHT finished second. Both should give a good account here but MAGNOLIA RIDGE has scope to improve further and can confirm the impression he was unlucky that day. CHASMA ran better than her final position suggests last time. The ground here will be more to her liking and she has solid each-way claims.
1. Cape Hideaway
2. Danceintothelight
3. Chasma
