Winning joint trainer David Easterby told ITV Racing: "The owner is a great man, he's always wanted to have a winner at York.
"Marvellous!"
Winning jockey Joanna Mason added: "I've riden him ever since he was a two-year-old. To win here is what dreams are made of. He's such a big horse, he covers the ground, and was relaxed. He goes on everything but he just benefits from a bit of cut in the ground."

Winning trainer Alan King told ITV Racing: "I can't believe it really. He's a tough horse, and it was a great ride from Rossa [Ryan]. I'm blown away
"He'll make a nice hurdler wont he! I wont suggest that to the owners today!
"It's been the plan since Ascot. He had a tough race there, broke the track record, and the rain came. It's a very special day."

Winning trainer Charlie Appleby told ITV Racing: "He's come into his own over the last couple of weeks.
"With the ground we decided to ride him more prominently than usual but Will [Buick] knows the horse inside out and once I could see that he hadn't thrown the kitchen sink at him, there was never going to be a horse that could pick him up.
"What's lovely is that he's shown his versatility on different ground and you might get that question mark at Keeneland. He will go straight there [for the Breeders' Cup Turf] now."

Winning rider Callum Rodriguez told ITV Racing: "Point Lynas was always going to put a good pace on, but he's really surprised me.
"He relaxed so well, he's been a keen forward-going sort. I actually ended up committing him too early but he was strong through the line.
"He's improving."
