European Championship darts: Major moves to Oberhausen at the end of October


The 2020 European Championship will move to be held at the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen from October 29-November 1.

The 32-player event follows the completion of the European Tour season, which will feature two final events in Germany during October.

The European Championship had previously been planned to be held in Dortmund, but will now move to Oberhausen and take place across five sessions in four days.

Session times for the event have been confirmed as follows:

Thursday October 29 (1600 CET)
16x First Round  

Friday October 30
Afternoon Session (1300 CET)
4x Second Round

Evening Session (2000 CET)
4x Second Round

Saturday October 31 (2000 CET)
Quarter-Finals

Sunday November 1 (2000 CET)
Semi-Finals & Final
