Verdict

BOW ECHO did very well under the circumstances when maintaining his unbeaten record at Royal Ascot and can become the first horse since Frankel to win the 2000 Guineas, St James's Palace Stakes and Sussex Stakes. Gstaad was unable to beat the selection despite having had the perfect set up in the St James's Palace but he still looks best of the others, with Opera Ballo the pick of the older horses.
