Verdict

Although ALCARATH was a beaten favourite on his Redcar handicap debut in November his easy defeat of Rosebery winner Gamrai in an Epsom novice prior to that is an eyecatching piece of form on which he looks well treated. He's taken to resume his progression and prove too strong for recent Craven meeting winner Mister Winston. The shortlist is completed by Bullet Point, who is 2-2 on the Rowley Mile, and Botanical.

  1. ALCARATH (IRE)
  2. MISTER WINSTON
  3. BULLET POINT
