Verdict

SPECIAL JOHN shaped much better than the distance beaten losing his unbeaten tag over fences at Windsor and, on a good mark and still open to improvement back hurdling, he is taken to register his first success in this sphere. Next on the list is Local Derby, who didn't get very far last time but he jumped well enough when scoring at Wincanton in January and he may also have more to offer. Blue In The West and handicap debutante Jurassic Pet also enter calculations, along with Loki's Mischief.

  1. SPECIAL JOHN (IRE)
  2. LOCAL DERBY (IRE)
  3. BLUE IN THE WEST (IRE)
