Verdict

JORDANS CROSS earmarked himself for this ultra-competitive contest when a last-gasp winner of the Timeform Novices' Handicap over C&D in January. That race has thrown up plenty of Cheltenham Festival winners and this highly progressive sort is fancied to become another. Gordon Elliott's handicap debutant Wingmen figures on a handy-looking mark and seems sure to be on the premises, while Sixmilebridge, Kdeux Saint Fray, Stencil, and Ben Solo all need factoring in too.
