Verdict

The betting should prove informative with several of these Rules debutants but preference is for RICES POOL, who fetched €92,000 as a 3-y-o and represents a yard synonymous with bumper success. Roximan was disappointing in a listed bumper at Cheltenham in January but can build on his debut promise at the second attempt, while Par Avion could well take off with his debut effort under his belt.
