Verdict

A big field but only a handful make any serious appeal, SPINNINGAYARN found only a couple with experience too strong on hurdling debut so he's fancied to enhance Gordon Elliott's fine run of form at the expense of Emerald Poet, who won a Plumpton bumper back in the spring and falls into the 'could be anything' category on return/hurdles bow. Treasure Memory and Jesse James Howard can fight out third.
