Verdict

MERSEA ISLAND found a surge of improvement returned to all-weather when scoring in comprehensive fashion at Southwell earlier in the month and, with the timefigure adding substance to the visual impression, a 6 lb higher mark doesn't seem enough to prevent the follow up. Bahadur is also progressing notably well on all-weather and is much respected bidding for the hat-trick, with Imperial Sovereign another to take seriously.

  1. MERSEA ISLAND (IRE)
  2. BAHADUR
  3. IMPERIAL SOVEREIGN (IRE)
