Verdict

SOMEONE'S WISH wasn't at his best over fences at Down Royal recently, but he bagged a handicap hurdle on his penultimate start and resumes in this sphere on the same mark as when going close here in January. Gordon Elliott's charge gets the nod in favour of Thompson Gunner, who looks a big threat after taking a step firmly back in the right direction when runner-up over this C&D a fortnight ago. Sarmiento Power is third choice, while Mapa is also worth a second look.

  2. THOMPSON GUNNER (IRE)
  3. SARMIENTO POWER (IRE)
