Verdict

WILL THE WISE has proven progressive in novice chase company, scoring impressively at Galway despite not being fluent two out. This promising six-year-old looks very much the type to bag a major handicap, with this significant step up in trip likely to suit ideally. Velvet Elvis ran a career best when second in the Thyestes and remains dangerous on a going day. Dunboyne has ability but jumping errors are a concern.
