Verdict

COLCANNON reached a smart level in bumpers, winning twice last season prior to shaping better than the bare result in Grade 1 company here on his final outing in the spring. He's an exciting recruit to this sphere and earns the vote to make the perfect start over fellow hurdling newcomer Koktail Brut who was useful himself in bumpers last term. Henry de Bromhead pair Splendid Fellow and Fedneys Park can fight it out for third spot.

  1. COLCANNON (IRE)
  2. KOKTAIL BRUT (FR)
  3. SPLENDID FELLOW (IRE)
