Verdict

The obvious direction to look in is that of MR TONY, who raised his game in first-time blinkers when getting on top close home last week at Gowran where he had the re-opposing Bullet Bourbon 1½ lengths adrift in third. The latter is entitled to finish a bit closer on 5 lb better terms here, but Mr Tony probably has more to offer and, with similar conditions forecast and this stiff track likely to prove ideal, he is taken to follow up. Blessings To You is best of the rest.

  1. MR TONY (IRE)
  2. BULLET BOURBON (IRE)
  3. BLESSINGS TO YOU (IRE)
