Verdict

JAR DU DESERT showed a fairly useful level of form over hurdles prior to making a successful chasing debut in May and, with the step up in trip highly likely to suit, he gets the nod to come out on top on his first start for Nick Kent. Heltenham progressed well over fences last season and is an interesting runner reverted to hurdles for his reappearance, while To Chase A Dream made an encouraging start in this sphere at Carlisle and is a likely improver up in trip.

  1. JAR DU DESERT (FR)
  2. HELTENHAM (FR)
  3. TO CHASE A DREAM
