The 6-y-o went close twice in big-field handicaps last month and it's probably best to draw a line through his latest effort at Roscommon where the refitted cheekpieces (discarded here) may not have aided his cause. Palace Rock was runner-up over this C&D on his latest start in this sphere (also second over hurdles during that month) and he will be a threat if fully tuned-up. Longclaw is third choice ahead of Cold Steel.
