Verdict

An interesting 3-y-o handicap and it could be worth siding with AUGUST. His finishing effort never quite matched the way he travelled when fourth at Newmarket 3 weeks ago but there's no doubting he remains the type to do better and, from an appealing opening mark, he earns the vote.
