Gunnerside (5/2), Elzaal (11/4), Hit Mac (4/1), Kraken Power (5/1), Sam's Call (7/1), Nellie French (10/1), Ruggles (12/1), Joshua R (14/1), Palifico (20/1), Mews House (50/1)

Verdict

KRAKEN POWER wasn't seen to best effect when succumbing to the late charge of Nellie French over this C&D last week and, now 5 lb better off with that rival, he is taken to emerge on top this time. Nellie French is proving consistent and should give another good account of herself but she was outpointed by Elzaal (second choice) on her penultimate start and is now worse off at the weights with that rival, too. Hit Mac is another with decent claims in a competitive handicap.

  1. KRAKEN POWER (IRE)
  2. ELZAAL (IRE)
  3. NELLIE FRENCH (IRE)
