Verdict

The vote goes to ACED IT, who has benefited from the step up to this trip the last twice, latterly finishing a highly creditable fourth in a C&D conditions race. He was only a neck adrift of Solent Gateway on that occasion and now meets Hugo Palmer's charge on 7 lb better terms. The Charlton-trained duo Withhold and Imperium are also taken to reverse placings with Solent Gateway, having finished third and fourth respectively to that rival at Wolverhampton, and emerge as the main dangers.
