Forecasts

John Cannon (10/11), Tinder Dan (5/2), Irish Envoy (6/1), Lookondebrightside (13/2), Nephin Beg (10/1), Marco Rock (14/1), Beeverstown Bullet (16/1), No Deterrent (20/1), Deep Pockets (40/1), Emily In Paris (40/1), Colourful Lil (50/1), Shamror Lass (66/1), Split The Pound (66/1), Nights Of Doyen (100/1), Rathnaleen Zoey (125/1), Kilbride Hill (150/1)

Verdict

Even if TINDER DAN was ultimately flattered by his finishing position in a well-contested race at Galway a fortnight ago, that still has to go down as a promising hurdles debut and he will prove hard to beat, provided this drop in trip doesn't prove too much of an inconvenience. John Cannon is 0-8 in this sphere, but merits respect all the same and he is second choice ahead of Nephin Beg and bumper winner Irish Envoy.
