It's hard to get away from SHIMMERING SANDS, who was arguably unlucky not to make a winning handicap debut over 8.4f here last time, given that he encountered traffic problems at a crucial stage and finished with a flourish once in the clear. This stiffer test can be expected to help unlock further improvement. Selfish Brian is also likely to take this step up in trip in his stride on the back of his recent Leicester victory and he is next on the list ahead of Make A Prophet.
